The 6-ply/6.2mm toms and 8-ply/7.9mm kick drum resound with authority every time you step up to the plate. Warm, focused, full, and capable of filling a room, the 30th Anniversary is suited for virtually every session and style of player. Both sides of the shells are finished in breathtaking flame maple veneers and kissed with a Garnet Flame satin finish that positively glows under stage and studio lights.

Bearing edges have a big impact on tone and tuning capability. Mapex’s SONIClear bearing edges seat heads so perfectly that they can be hand-tensioned and still produce a pure tone. This widens the 30th Anniversary shell pack’s tuning range for players who like deeper fundamentals and still want a rich, full nearfield response.
